WARS

wars have been raging throuhout the ages,
to tell of all would take many pages,
it all comes down to what is ours,
to tell of all would take many hours!

the politicians, they pick a fight,
arguing and bickering, thru day and night,
this is ours, and thats your lot,
cross our borders, and you get shot!

youve crossed the line its time for war,
youre not our allies, forever no more!

so gather your troops,and each charge their gun,
were now at war,this isnt for fun!

the generals supping brandy,around their maps,
shuddering at the thuds, as each round slaps!

the privates and corporals, hard on their feet,
seeking out the enemy, they yearn to meet!

as one man drops, another man stands,
will he die? its out of his hands!

the bullet with his name, in the enemys gun,
this is war its not for fun!

religion, power, and oil, the main cause,
are these good reasons for many wars
