Yes means No

"I love you"
The words were whispered into her ear, but blown away in the breeze, as
if they had never been said.
"I love you too" she murmured, feeling as if the phrase had just but
passed her lips. She could feel tears forming in her eyes, burning at
the corners. She bit her lip to prevent them from tumbling forth onto
his sleeve.
"Hey, what's wrong?" He could sense her discomfort, and pulled her body
away from his. He cupped her face in his hands as if handling a crystal
ball.
"Nothing's wrong," she said quietly, her lips pulled back into a smile,
"Why would anything be wrong?"
"I don't know, you seem rather tense, am I that bad?"
"Of course you're not," Those words seemed lost in the breeze too, but
could have been a breeze themselves for they were expressed only just
above silence.
She shook her lovely head free. He looked at her with concern, she
seemed so upset.
"Something must be wrong then, am I small or something?"
"No no, it's not that. It's not you at all, don't worry, I'm fine. I
guess it just hasn't sunk in yet."
It had been magical. Her hair had fallen over her face, teasing him in
a soft, gentle sort of way. She had flipped her head, and her golden
brown hair had tumbled back over her shoulders, cascading down the back
of her neck.
She had been atop of him, rocking back and forth ever so gently. He had
desired her like crazy and he didn't know what had overcome him, but he
pushed her onto her back and had forced himself on her
vigourously.
She had seemed surprised and had cried out, but she was of course only
climaxing.
Afterwards, they had lain there, sprawled out across the makeshift bed,
exhausted. He had grinned at her breathlessly, and she remembered
smiling weakly.
Opening the door, she found his friends standing there, scattered about
his driveway. As soon as they saw the door opening, they rushed foward,
like a group of journalists eager to pester a celebrity.
"Yeah? So, what happened in there?"
"Did you do it?"
"Look at her, you can see they did it!"
"You should have seen how the caravan was shaking!"
"Yeah, it looked like a fucking earthquake!"
"Dildo, it was a 'fucking' earthquake! Ha ha"
She had looked from one hungry face to another, striken. Her eyes
skitted over their heads towards the gate. She had to escape, she
couldn't stay here.
"No comment," she had said playfully, trying to keep her voice from
breaking.
She had pushed her way through their sea of bodies and walked briskly
out the gate.
"Hey, wait!"
She had sucked in her breath and held it in until it felt as if her
lungs were going to burst. For a split second, she had had the craziest
urge for a ciggarette.
"So, what actually happened?" One of his friends had split away from
the group and had sidled up next to her, dragging his feet.
"Nothing happened"
"Yeah, right, that's why the caravan was fucking well shaking huh? Did
you use a condom?"
"I wish," she murmured, "But we didn't go that far, so it doesn't
matter"
"You know that if he shagged you and you didn't use protection, that
you've got a problem right?"
"I'm not fucking well stupid, you know! But why don't you just drop it,
we didn't do it!"
He had stuffed his hands into his pockets and bit his cheek.
"Hey, baby! Wait up!"
She breathed in sharply and spun around, her teeth showing, "Hey
sweetie"
His friend looked at him bluntly, "Where is the condom?"
"It's in the caravan," he had said, all out of breath.
"You'd better fetch it before your dad finds it"
"Nah, don't worry, we didn't use it"
"What! You do know that if she falls pregnant, you're going to jail for
rape, right? You are aware of that? You do know that she's a minor huh,
dude?"
"Dude, we didn't do it, don't stress"
"Oh"
She had been pulled into his arms and she could feel him covering her
hair and head with kisses.
"I love you"
The words were lost to the breeze, as if they hadn't been said at
all.
