A to Z - Lessons Well Taught

Almost fifty students we were, assembled in a new class
Busy waiting to greet a teacher who would take-over the dais

"Class Teacher's coming!" someone exclaimed; just as
Doors opened outward, Ma'am P.N. walked in

Even as I saw her, I could sense my heart skip a beat
For, her grace was known to sweep everyone off their feet

Gazing at the whole class, as she smiled fondly
Hundred eyes glittered with joy, almost instantly

I wished to decipher what made her so different
Just a while passed, and she proved why she's a class apart

Kind and caring ways of hers, and knowledge so profound
Loads of wit and wisdom she had, enough to leave you spellbound

Music or IT, English or Science, whatever the subject was
No one could deny her competence to talk about it all with ease

Opting to scale new heights and being so passionate for success,
she
Pressed on to be innovative, on subjects like teaching and on ethics of
learning

Quite a daunting task it was, to outshine everyone
Resolve was firm, hard work followed, and success came at once

She turned a celebrity almost instantly, earning accolades so
awesome
That just marked the start of a success story, there was more to
come

Ushering us with lessons no book can possibly explain
Vital were her inputs for us to stay diligent, victorious, and
sane

Whichever way you looked at her, a teacher, a mentor, or a guide
X'press what you want from her, and she would stand by your side

Yearning to emulate Madam PN for a reason, a season, and a
lifetime
Zeal within me is bubbly, to be half as good as my beloved Ma'am!
