Alcohol

Sometimes I wish I was an alcoholic
To drink my life away
It'd be perfect to ignore all the shit in the past
Come drink with me, what do you say?
We can ignore all those murmuring bastards
For we will still have a place to drink
But the pleasurable thing about it
Is that we wont even have to think
About the bastards who treat us like shit
Or the stupid things we've done in the past
These days you can get massive bottles
Of alcohol, that are designed to last
We can be drunken slobs
Laughing about anything
Alcohol can sort your problems
Come on, let's drink and sing
We won't care about the onlookers
Let them judge us as they wish
For wouldn't it be lovely
If even just for a night we were pissed
Maybe alcoholism isn't the route to go down
But it sure can help you let you go
No longer my dear we shall be put down
And no more woes of sorrow
Shall be made by those tossers out there
For alcohol is a solution
Yes it does create problems
But our livers were meant for polution
Don't worry, they'll get a rest one day
But for now, we're young and free
Discovering the power of this wonderful thing
Come on, let's go and see
The fun we can have with this drink
Don't like it? There are many more
Then when we've had enough we can stumble
And fall asleep at the front door
We can drink till our hearts desire
And do anything we want
For alcohol is something we need
And right now, it's exactly what I want
