D-torment

I see you in a crowded room
As I am foreced to walk the empty streets
Of a city blind to torment
Shaddows race across my eyes
As a cry resembling your name escapes my lips
And echoes off the city walls
Audiable to everyone but you.
The buildings appear indifferent
As unsure of the cries intent
The drakness, still clung to the horizon
begins to seap along every hollow of the cold stone beneath me
I look back to find you gone
Stolen away by the threatening days of innocence.
