A Moment in Mind

Maybe it was the way earth looked at that moment,

with the sun glaring down upon it or the breeze that hit my skin but I felt something. 

Something I rarely ever felt, it brought me utter peace...

I felt as if nothing was real, and yet everything was alive!

I tried to pinpoint why I started feeling this way

and in doing so I sunk deeper into this... this other realm.

I no longer associated myself with my body and my life on earth but as a soul.
