The gods on Mt. Olympus
Never a peaceful day
With Ares' wars and
Hercules' chores
While Hera schemes all day
Aphrodite's beauty
Makes the men goo-goo eyed
Orpheus sings
To gods and kings
Apollo suns the sky
The gods on Mt. Olympus
Are an obnoxious group
There's Hades, mean
And Zeus the King
With Athena and her troops
Eros plunges arrows
Into unsuspecting hearts
Narcissus vain
Atlas in pain
As he holds up the spinning earth
The gods on Mt. Olympus
What if they all were real?
Would life be grand?
As good as it can?
I think it'd be insane!
