A minute for you

If forever was a second, than give me a minute of your time.
I want to be forever, not stuck in a bind.
If I couold give you the world, I'd do it,
Because whatever it was I needed, you helped me through it.
I know inside you're hurting like me,
I know right where you want to be.
I wish I could share the love that I feel,
And maybe for once it could be real.
I don't know if I'll ever understand,
What it'd be like to forever hold your hand,
To stay in one place, and see you brush your hair off your face,
Wake up each morning next to you,
Know for once and for all that my dream has come true.
Yet, I still wait, sitting here silently.
Waiting for the right time for 'us' to be.
I don't mind slowing down my steps,
Because no matter what, you, I won't forget.
