Dear me,

Where have you been so long?

Is this you?

Am I your song?

Or has something shaped you wrong,

Lost you, left you, sold you on?

Why, if you are part of me,

But not the human heart of me,

Do you lead me on?

I seek for something gone.

I long, I crave, I search the more,

The more your voice demands me for.

But why sow seeds where nothing grows?

And why taste gold, when silver flows?

Poems make me lachrymose......

Because I can come nearer.
