I look into your eyes and see at once a mirror into my soul
Two paths converge as one and then suddenly becoming whole
I look into your face and see the roads on which I've been
Miles apart and at different times, yet knowing what I've seen
I touch your hand and feel your pulse as it races along like mine
Rivers of life flow under our skin and now they can combine

I kiss your face and taste the want that settles on your skin
The warmth and softness of your mouth that beckons me within
We've waited all our lives for this yet didn't really know
How we could live apart so long but never would it show
