My stomach is hurting me today because I've been drinking way too much. Yesterday, I took a trip to the beach with some young Thais I know a little. I piled into the back of an ancient pick-up truck with 6 Thai guys, 4 girls, and a guitar. The ride was a bit uncomfortable.
By the time, we got to the beach, the weather had cooled down enough that I didn't swim... though most of the guys did. So I sat around drinking Thai brandy and talking with a Thai-Chinese girl, about 20. Her step-father is a retired English navy officer who likes his beer. He wants her to go to England but she wants to wait a few years.
The guy who brought his guitar seemed to be a real musician. He never stopped playing and singing. He has large, shining eyes.
