Hi Aey!,

Honestly, I'm not sure what I think of the food here in ______. I like Thai food and I eat it in America, green curry being my favorite. I haven't managed to get a lot of curry sauce yet, just a little bit with the meat. And then I dislike some of the vegetables that are served here.

On the plus side, the restaurant where I eat the most has made an English menu for me. My favorite dish there is Tom Yum Talat(?), a curry soup with squid and fish. And I like having my eggs on fried rice with fish sauce and chiles. Also, I have fresh pine-apple everyday.

No, I don't think I'll go home just for Christmas, though I would like to. It will be enough to send gifts back and forth.

Here in _______, it is often very cloudy or smoggy; I'm not sure which. A few days ago, this had the interesting effect of making the sun the size of the moon and radiantly orange, but so that you could look right at it. Also, the lotus flowers in the pond at the entrance of the university are blooming.
