Just a Rant

Sometimes I just want to write, and
not give a damn if anyone likes what I say.
I want to write to just feel myself.
I want to hear my own cries on paper
with a little free style ditty
that doesn't mean a thing
to anyone but me.

I want to be able to read my own writings and
say, YES that is just how I feel, and
then be better for the mere writing of
my thoughts. If I want to feel sad,
I can do that, if I want to be sexy,
hell, I can do that too. I want to see
my tears in Times New Roman
and my laughter in PixieFont.

I truly don't care about the Nuns
from the middle ages or flying saucers.
I care about my family, my friends, and
I care about me. I don't need anyone
telling me that isn't important enough
to write about. It is the only thing
to write about. All poets are a me.

Why do we hide that?
