About this cloning thing?

Now, I sure as hell don't want a bunch of little
Adolf Hitlers roaming around
and I don't even want a new Nixon or Churchill.
Once was enough for those world leader types.
We don't need another John Elway or Mother
Teresa, their gonna be remembered 50 years from now,
but, how bout the rest of us

would be scientists, actors and politicing folk
that got lost in environmental clutter not having have all the
advantages?
Us, who with a second chance, could really be somebody.

Oh, the hell with you guy's, whatta bout me?
Whatta bout me, sitting here, longing for the
things I never got done? Who's gonna be responsible
for putting me at the top of the list?
I ain't got no money or clout, I just gots one
wasted mind and a whole bunch of lost potential.

Why won't "what might have been's" be the first?
I'd even be willing to stand in line for a chance like that.
My determination would move me right up to the front.
I know they would be able to see "the me" that got
lost somewheres in the growing up years.
I'd show em' all, second time round,
You can bet your sweet ass, I would.
