The Politician.

Sell your self as a product,

sitting perfectly on a shelf,

an advocate for the normal people,

not interested in wealth,

spinning tales of a humble beginning,

you weren't born in a council flat,

do anything to make sure your winning,

I'm sure you parents are proud of that.

mothers on the street will weep,

in hospital our loved ones will die,

the bombs dropped will kill millions,

and your the reason why,

but you will not bat an eye lid,

you'll feed us yet more lies,

less will flock to the ballot box,

and our democracy shall die.
