A Smiling face within a frame
A beautiful girl with a beautiful name
my very best friend, sisters at heart
who'd have forseen this terrible art?
she went away-across the sea
I stayed here missing her terribly
One day the frame it fell and smashed
and all my emotions exploded with a crash
I picked up a bit of it's ruined shell
and started my reign of living hell
with a simple slash I felt the blood
intermingling in with the mud
The dark red liquid flowed down my arm
that was the day I started to harm
2 years later it's finally at an end
the girl in the frame no longer my friend
I now hold my head up when I walk down the street
and pass a smile onto all that I meet
I'm not proud of the last two years
but I'm not ashamed of my rosy tears
My scars a map of my troubled past
thank god I'm free of that at last!
