hey, you, what's that sound?

It's safe to say that working on a sunny evening, especially when you are trapped behind a desk in a glass building resemblant of a green house, that you are going to be bored. This is the current situation I find myself in. Your mind wanders to other places and to other people who you know will be in the pub or at home or on holiday or anywhere but working.
I remembered that some time ago I set up an account on this very website and published poems that I'd written. I don't think I've been back here for a while and to my humbling surprise over 1200 people have read them (give or take the hundred times I've read them back). People's thoughts on the world are interesting. They offer an insight in to their thoughts, their desires, their wishes, their frustrations, their fantasies, their indulgences and their weirdness. I like to think I fall somewhere in the middle of all this.
What, though, may you ask, is the point here? Is there a hidden message, an agenda? Is there some deep, powerful thought process surrounding my ramblings here this evening? Well, you can make your own assumptions. I just like the fact I remembered that I had this place, this whole new world where no-one knows your name yet you pour it all out before you, like the sacrificial writer bleeding his mind on the web for the wider world to ponder, discuss or merely dis-regard.
Make of it what you will, I know I do, and I'll tell you what...I can't wait to go home.
