John and Kerry pushed open the door simutaneously, their shoulders glued to each other as they glided across the restaurant. They remained intact as they bumped into the waiter sending plates of food spilling from his tray. The waiter looked askance but received no apology.
John stopped still, "How about the table in the corner, sweetie?"
"Yes, love," whispered Kerry, "it's quiet over there and I like the dimmed lighting.
Sauntering hand-in-hand across the floor, the pair sat down and stared at each other, locked n their own little world.
Instantly they started kissing and cuddling, much to the embarrassment of the couple nearest to them as they dined with their teenage daughters.
The waiter tapped John on the shoulder, "Shall I take your coats, sir?"
They looked at each other still sat in their outerwear.
"What's the rush?" squirmed John, "I didn't know you'd spotted us coming in. Give us time to get sorted mate!"
