A one-off Rendez-vous,
bit off more than I could chew.
A whet, uptight,
wet, I sat upright,
my appetite never satisfied,
too many whos, wheres and whys.
I saw talent, beauty, security,
A mirror called Verity,
reflecting my transgressions,
obsessed with possessions,
A charismatic klepto, a karma clam,
paralytic social selfish sham.
Thanks for a great night.
Maybe Blake was right,
kiss the joy as it flies,
don't push, force nor fight,
Then live and live and live,
and get all you want,
when you've something to give.
Ta.
