What bond connects some
Yet not others?

Dreams of a perfect world
That consume desires of
Depravity - wishing
Hoping for the perfect
Moment that few can achieve.
There is a soundtrack to that
Goal and blurred reality
Proves that there is an
Existance in the connection
But times may change and
There may be a slight doubting,
Until lying there just before
Nightmares and fantasies merge
Into the one sleep of endless
And instant time;
The one moment that
You know the bond is there-
You have and you are
A true friend.
