It used to be quite reasonable a trip down to the vet.
You'd take the dug to get his shots then pay the bill and yet.
I'm thinkin 'pet insurance' is now a better plan.
A monthly sum then it's aw done, I'll phone up when l .. remember.

But time slipped by an l forgot.
Now Bonzo's needing his next shot.
You're kiddin me, is that the price ??
Ridiculous, but got no choice.
Costs are gettin' way too high.
I must, must ring that 'pet plan' guy ..

Hi! Thought I'd look this up after you left a comment on my piece. Funnily enough, my name on here is nicked from the Bonzo Dog Doodah Band, which won't mean anything to you unless you're as old as me! Agree with you about the vet prices - I've got two cats. Insurance doesn't cover routine injections, though...:(
