Another Day

ANOTHER DAY

To see the dawn and feel the sun,
Another day has just begun.
My prayers unanswered another night,
I wonder if they ever might.

And so I rise to find my way,
Through yet another lonely day.
To find again at each days end,
A broken heart still yet to mend.

Words to express I cannot find,
How you have broken me in soul and mind.
Though all I had I freely gave,
It was not enough, for us, to save.

I know not if they are good or bad,
These words I write, so true, but sad.
But till the day you are by my side,
Only words can show what I must hide.
