Autumn Walk Home
Autumn walk
Stepping out alone,
No talk
Just loose thought
Relaxingly caught
Falling gently from above
Into open mind
Withered wonderings
Of unrefined kind
'Tis time for sure
This time the end of time
Treading the line beyond
No looking back
All erased behind
No change of mind
Or of heart
Which barely beats
To preserve the final steps
Or in frightened retreat
