things become worn down
struggling to keep the flame alive
as with each heartache
the hot wax leaves its scars

The fight to keep the passion burning
doesnt always last forever
slowly over time it melts away
the aroma becoming weaker
the flame smaller
till theres nothing left
extinguished
expired
gone...
