Extra Ordinary

Extra ordinary,
this icy hothouse
of tiny big things,
washed in suits and ties
and dogs
galloping on their paunches,
and big, black crows
tunnelling in and out of the sky,
while strawberry-flavoured houses
do tricks on stage.
