Rant or Plea

This fog swirls around us,
We stumble blindly
But not forward.
All we have are each other;
Pictures of us in a slideshow,
New ones being added all the time
But the show has no direction;
We know that there was a beginning
And we are in the middle
(let it last)
Clinging to each other
While fog swirls around us,
Tearing us apart
And thrusting us together
So we squash cheek to jowl,
Surprised,
Having nothing to say,
Nothing to do except
Lap each other up in greedy mouth-fulls
That soon are too sickly,
And then it tears us apart
Leaving us with another slide.
The cloud daunts our thoughts
Overcasting a pleasant sunny day
In nondescript,
Rambling
Fantasies
Of what we would do without it,
Away from it's Monstosity.
Cascades of power subduing our senses
As we stand,
Lonely,
With only a finger of communication.
I cannot cry,
A mental impossibility.
Instead I cork it all up in a bottle
And wait for the seals to break.
T'will nearl kill me
To lie down under that much emotion,
But when it ends, a new life will start
With us,
And you will be there;
We will be there together.
But now we are thrust upon each other again
Cheek to jowl.
Tell me everything and shout and scream and let all your anger and
bottled up emotion explode upon me,
I will smile at you and it will be much better afterwards,
For both of us.
