Boring Women Have Immaculate Homes!?

I read something today that made me laugh, in fact I have been giggling about it all day, that was until right now, this second, when the penny dropped. I looked around my house whilst sat in my living room chair, I felt bored absolutely and utterly bored, and I know why, because there is nothing I need to do, the house is immaculate, the dishes are done, the washing and ironing is all finished. When you run out of things you have to do, how easy is it to actually do anything more.
Fact is, what I read today is true, but I would rather imply that immaculate homes create boring women. It is all about guilt! Don’t we all thrive on guilt, like for example, how much time we can pass at work doing something completely unrelated to work without being noticed, or how long can we hold off buying that chocolate bar before giving in, or how about this, persuading ourselves to go for a run, then not actually doing it. All these things keep us busy just thinking about doing them but not actually doing them. So, to fully understand my point I propose that you sit in the living room watching television, whilst there is a pile of dishes that need doing, now, clean the dishes and then sit watching television, do you enjoy it half as much? I presume not
I know for a fact that I’m not boring, but I do know that having an immaculate home makes me feel bored! Mess is guilt, plain and simple, and we thrive on it! It’s now up to me to do what I have to do to make the most of my guilt free time! Easier said than done, so, I think I will go for a jog!
And the cycle starts again.
