conversation with a woman who paints skies
If I don't try too hard
I can picture your being there
the curl of your expression
your pristine features
seperated by luminescence
you were waiting
poised on inclusion
as if I were
the shifting of light
over wet sands
that disturbs and makes sense
at the same time
I felt I talked too much
and superficially
there were skies between us
which wasn't a bad thing
after all
skies paint better than walls
