Living together

Living Together.

She's saved
I'm not.
Still we live together
with pictures of Jesus
statues of Saints cluttering
dresser and end table tops.

Still we live together
with bible reading friends
over a few times a week
me upstairs in by underwear
watching W.W.F. on pay for view.

Still we live together
her quoting the bible
praying for my soul
every chance she gets.
Me trying my damnedest
not to break the fifth commandment
dealing with her.

Still we live together
Sundays her tapping me
out of a sound sleep
to let me know.
She's going to church
and I'm going to hell
