No one ever gets you
You follow their rules
School becomes lame
Everyone wants to be cool
You drive your dad's car
You want the latest CD
Life moves pretty slow
The net keeps you on your PC
They say 16 is sweet
But you'd never know it
Angst issues run rampant
Life's a bitch and you know it
They want you to grow up
But is adulthood so mature?
They live and they learn
Then there's the mid-life factor
Graduation is still an achievable goal
The green pastures of brighter days looms overhead
But at this age of indecision
Teenagers are often misread
