True fire

Some people believe some fires never burn out??a drifted fire
Continuously filled with heat and a never ending power to shout

Some of these fires are melted by rain of powerless feeling
A rain of pain and full of a lack of healing

Even the strongest fires are forced to bend to the ground
No control of themselves, No merciful feeling is found

But better times arrive??the fire starts to rise
Trying to get back as it was mend to be?free of the coldness of the
ice

Still every recovery leaves his scars?..standing for bad memories
This makes the fire doubt and throws him down on his knees

Begging for a break of dawn??.a moment ripe for a new start
Hoping for brighter days, time where it can refuel its heart

Trying to rebuild on the logs beneath ??..still thick but growing
thin
These are filled with reminders the only source that feeds him

Even these hard wooded logs are burning down??
Letting the fire slip closer to the underground

This ground is the last place the fire will spread his flames into the
poisoned sky
The last touch of life?.as its last piece of smoke goes for the
fly

Putting a mark in the thick air of death?..floating there shortly with
only message to pass
To show every soul that's wandering around it how strong our love once
was

But some fires burn for eternity?..some of them just don't know
Because some rains never stop?..forcing the fire to give up?..blocking
another throw

But some last throws are just enough to make the fire see
That our love is so strong that it will burn for eternity

Then search between the scraps of the burned logs for a spark that
holds our last piece of might
