Sometimes no matter how hard we try,
the outcomes is always to cry.
Life so bloody hard,
feeling like we're always being played the wrong card.

Highs few and far between,
the lows both real and in our dreams.

yet...

We have the power to turn it around,
together with our feet on the ground.
It doesnt have to be someone else's mould,
fuck everyone and doing what we're told.

We must find our way avoiding others wrath,
it won't be easy feeling we're on an impossible path
But we are our own, to do as we choose,
it may not go as planned, it may feel like we lose.

But we wont. We will work hard and find our way,
we will have our day.
Life will be good to us,
(even if we can't afford a car we can always get the bus)

It may feel like there's no light at the end of the tunnel.
Life is a war, a succession of battles.
Some lost, but many, many more will be won.
