On My journey home of coarse i must say that it was the most interesting flight i have ever taken, I met the most interesting group of people on the longest layover in an airport i have ever had... I was layovered for 8hours in the portland airport, the plain was delayed due to employee problems. Well in the begining of my stay in the airport I was by my self for about 6 hours, As you know i had a lot to keep my mind occupied, but then i met an interesting couple from california, The guy was a Doctor and his wife was a funiture seller and they were the funnest people that i have ever incountered because all we did from the start of the Hi's and Hellos and the introduction was laugh and tell jokes. I have never met a Relaxed Doctor before... He was a very funny guy and his wife complaments him well. She has an awsome personality that meshes well with the Doc.
Then about 30mins later We met a man that was traveling to hawaii to do communications for some cell companies, He was a calm and patient man that Would tell suttle jokes that everyone got, That added to all the laughing we were doing. then We met a couple that have been in the airport for 2 days because of the ATA going out of buisness... And i must say they are the most patient couple i have ever met, because no matter how horrible the situation is they stay calm and very happy... As we sat there for the next 3hours all we did was tell jokes and talk about current events and about our lives, I must say that it felt like i knew everyone for years, We Laughed so much that the security people at the airport asked if we were drinking, and that made us laugh even more. The look on his face when we just sat there laughing. I must say that I haven't laughed that much in a while, that made the time fly... Once they announced that we are finally going to board the plain... everyone started clapping and hallaring... But the fun didn't stop there, the group of people i met all sat by me and our conversation took us 5hours across the ocean home. . . I have to say that when we landed I was sad because then the Laughter and the talking would stop, well it didn't it continued to the baggage claim were the entire plain got into the conversation and it was like a big party at the baggage claim... people that worked there was alittle confused they didn't know what was happening, but all things have to come to an end and we all parted ways with the wonderful memory of " Who I met on my Way home". I believe we meet people for a reason, I have a feeling i will meet them agian. So until then Keep Laughing!!!
For all those on NWA Flight 217 April 7,2008 until we meet agian.....
