Dandelions

Dandelions.

A profusion of yellow heads
Line the ditches
Prominent and proud.

A spring sprung army
Bright and blazing
In contrast with the green .

Noble nodding gentlemen
Displaying heads of gold
With slender stalks supporting
For my eyes to behold.
