THE FUGATIVE PART 5
The evening felt like a fairytale but he wasn't dreaming. Winston was
alive now he could breathe live etc.
So they decided to meet, where? The town centre when? 12.00.
He was about 25 minutes early but she was there he was blissful. She
wore but one colour a beautiful light green dress with light blue
sandals; she was so beautiful, vivacious.
The mad thing about them was they seemed perfect they saw gone with the
wind but spent the whole time looking at each other, they were
committed.
That was incredible it was about 4 hours maybe less but there was an
intermission they were a GREAT couple.
It was also great that he was not quite insane or overpowering it was
that he had never found a best friend.
When they got out of the cinema around five she suddenly changed she
was asking more questions, not about the film
"So why have you left London"
"Time alone"
"From what"
"A holiday, I love holidays ...wait a second are you not a travel
writer"
"Correct well you seem fine. I think your one of these people that
feels negative about everything. Maybe its because you do Drama at
college who knows?"
"Oh stop moaning ... lets go tennis? Hey that's a good idea".
"No racquet"
"Oh come on," he said
"Ok let's just enjoy it". AT that point she tossed her elegant dark
hair to show her girlie feminine side"
It was much later, pushing 6.00 but both Winston and Gloria were on the
court.
The tension was exploding. Winston had changed into a more summery
outfit then the rather sophisticated outfit of earlier.
She had also changed into an outfit nigh bikini.
"Let's begin," she said sexily
"When you're ready," he said in a competitive voice.
She served.
He hit, She hit, He hit and then she gave a stunner
"15-0" I think, I thought you said you were good a t tennis or am I
mistaken.
"We've only just begun".
They played for maybe five minutes but the tension was exploding, the
chemistry was definitely right
He could sense that this happiness was to cover a loss but he couldn't
stop, NO.
