The fugative part 7
She ran as fast as she could. Why did he said such a stupid thing?, he
felt like such a premadonna.
All that remained was the finished game they had just played, you could
almost say it was a storm and a teacup.
He was walking down the street trying as hard as he could to get some
bearings.
His mobile rang
"Hi paul look im glad."
"Winston come home NOW!". "You can.t just run into a strope just
because you can.t get your own way do you know how much hassle".
" I'm coming home tomorro, please take me back, please i'll ... i'll be
home tomorro ok."
Alright because you don.t have much option"
" Bye Paul".
"bye"
The motel was drak and gloomy upon arriving. Surpisingly though the
motel was about 4 keys shorter. Everything was different although
ironic as he was leaving.
He rang the bell he was so unbelievably depressed yet the women came
looking surpisingly upbeat.
" Any messages for me, sorry im Winston Harrington, room 1."
"Why of yes, a girl called Gloria send you a message around 40 minutes
ago. Im not sure why but theres the message"
Oh winston i truely doubt that either of us meant what we said, i more
or less think that we were careless and weak.
Oh Winston i was a fool so narrow and weak, uncaring, unhelpful i
believe that otherwise we would have been fine.
Oh damm why o why? did i do those stupid things
I am asking for a second change in the enevolpe is everything you need
to contact me with PLEASE do i miss you so dearly.
WITH LOVE
Gloria
He had hope at last he decided straight away to call her, penniless and
probrally adding a million pounds on to his mobile bill he called, she
was in.
"Lets go see "THE SOUND OF MUSIC", She suggested after reading the
novella "THE GOD OF SMALL THINGS".
A mini second later and a boaming yes was shouted down the phone.
Packed and coming home he could now over a new page in his diary and
entitle the entry
"Gloria a drop of golden sun".
After these two days he could definately relate to Gloria much
more.
Bill paid and upon struggling the last of his remains (including the
stolen money), he was ready to take the tour bus home.
He sort of laughed and cried at the same time, before he left he made
the promise that he would return to where he had made a real change and
chance in his life.
You could say he was counting down the days.
Home was so near and yet as he drove ever closer he felt relieved much
happier, ectasy no but exceptionally happy yes.
He would finally be home back where he belonged and as far as i know he
did go back home
