Vision

My perfect vision has gone blurry, glazed over with tears, I saw you
smile, my life went blank and out came all my fears.
My insecurites, my childhood memories, my life long hopes and dreams, I
still love you how ironic, nothings the way it seems.
A tear rolls down my burning cheek, noone sees it fall, a red rose
wilts, a baby crys, a gun shot falls to the floor.
A key turns in the lock of an unsuspecting door, a heart is crushed
perhaps its mine, stamped down on the floor. A tick of a clock drives
me insane and I finally shut the door.
