Three Men

Three men.

"4:47 Plus minus counting." Man Singh was a human clock. He would walk
the mountain roads shouting out the time, with remarkable
accuracy.
Sometimes he would try and sell a few sorry looking vegetables or a
load of firewood. Sometimes he would cry.
People said he had worked as a servant for the acid king. "4:52 plus
minus counting".

He spoke many European languages. No one was quite sure where he came
from. He always used the pronoun "we" when referring to himself.
He wouldn't touch knives and smoked joints "just for the taste". He
wore only a loin cloth. His genitals were often exposed.
He said, "once I was so horny that I fucked a horse".

Faulker was a German. He had dirty blond hair and a good solid laugh.
I'm not sure were Faulker used to sleep, he never had any money.
He had a dog called Fritzen who went with him everywhere. Fritzen
received more kindness than Faulker.
He died in the mountains and was buried by Israel, the baker.
