F - A Come Back With

Sandra Paul rushed into the classroom. The children of class VI rose
from their bench and wished in unison, "Good morning Miss".

"Good morning children. Please sit down". Sandra sat on the hard wooden
chair, dropped the bag that hung from her right shoulder, placed it on
the big wooden table. Headache was drumming in her forehead,
restlessness to go with it. She had managed to get an asprin from Neha
and gulped it with water knowing well she had sent down a warrior to
fight a battle to relieve her of the tormenting nuisance. She wanted to
sit quietly for sometime and the best way to keep the class busy was to
give them something to write. "Children, I want you all to write down
the answer to this simple question within forty words. The best answer
gets ten points added to her House account."

The children ready with their note book and pen, looked at the
teacher.

Sandra was wrapped in uneasiness evident from the lines running across
her temple. She put in efforts to bring a smile to her face and said,
"The question is: 'What do you need To Be Successful'. Fifteen minutes
to write your answers".

The children penned down their thoughts and submitted the answers to
Miss Sandra. Headache had lost its battle and Sandra got relief. Sandra
read all the answers and Nayna's answer was adjudged the best. Sandra
read it out before the class;

To be successful

Take 2 kgs.of hard work, add 1 kg. of knowledge regarding the subject,
add 2 teaspoons of confidence in them, mix it with half tablespoon of
intelligence. Garnish it with ? teaspoon of luck and wishes.

"Simi, you have submitted a blank sheet".

"Miss I didn't know the quantities to make the MIX", said Simi.

"Whaaaat?" said Sandra looking perplexed and the class was drowned in
laughter.
