The Unlikely Story of Felicity's's Tea House
by Whilumus McGoofin
My grandmother, Felicity McGoofin, awoke one morning and decided to open a tea house.
"Not just any tea house," she said to her cat,
"but a tea house where all who came would not want to leave. They'd be having so much fun and would stay so long, that we'd have to hire someone to throw them all out into the street."
Chester the cat gazed up at Felicity and purred his disapproval.
"Too drastic, you think, " said Felicity. "All right then, they could stay as long as they wanted, and tipped the hostess enormous amounts of money."
Chester moaned and swatted Felicity a good whack with his tail.
"You're a tough calico, Chester," said Felicity.
"All right then, They could all stay as long as they liked, and would not be required to sell their belongings in order to enjoy my teas and other good things."
Chester grinned and spit up a hair ball onto Felicity's lap.
"They'll be none of that at my tea house, Chester," said Felicity. "People will spit up their hair balls into proper napkins. I'll run a respectable establishment I will!"
