Blue scarred by the cutting of coal
And white fingered by the drill
Heaved a heavy phlegm thick cough
Sucked air
Like a landlocked fish
Counting headstones in the churchyard
Choked on the words
"Died Peacefully"
And spat his anger onto the grass;
