Why do you so selfishly
Disregard the way I feel
Why am I the only one to see
That this change is now for real

Why do you so impatiently
Tell me you need an explanation
A change of heart ain't good enough
Cos it's devoid of complication

Why do you so perfectly
Present to me your point of view
Why when I am so convinced
Can't put through my point to you

Why do you cling on to me
Like I'm all you ever had
Has life been so unfair to you
To make you fall in a love so mad

Why do you tell me you're attached
That I'm the only one you love
Making me feel so guilty
Of a crime I'm innocent of

Why do you pay me compliments
To keep me by your side
Telling me any relationship
Will be a bumpy ride

Why do you so selfishly
Refuse my change of heart
Vowing now without my consent
That we shall not be apart

Why do you so childishly
Refuse to see the truth
I've had a change of heart you see
And I don't envy you
