Four words I found in my mouth

I. Schools are coming up like dandelions
in Norwich this summer.
I went past another on my way to work
today. Hadn't seen it before.
I think the children might be massing,
ready to take over the city
II. (Asked to explain the cover of 'I'll show you tyrant')
That's what sells, wild honey,
that's what sells. Mankind is drawn
to monstrosity - that's why we buy the Mail
So what else to curtain my book in,
but my own grinning visage?
So people come
and skin it alive
III. In the cinema, eating chocolate
The film is combed with snow
(Think 'Russian Ark' or 'Dolls')
and I'm so wonderfully lonely
I don't care about the weather outside
or the beautiful amber moons
Just my field of coke and milk
IV. Now drunk at Beth's house
She's gone to bed and Hume's last days
are reconstructed on her black box.
"God's darting about like a chamber maid?!"
he scoffs. The plot plants rumple and wind
like smoke into Christmas lights, who web
the tablet mirror on the mantelpiece
"Dear boy," says the box, "it is not a game
of mirrors!"
Ah, the catalogue of vices
The catalogue of vices
I don't have to die
I have an excuse
