The day

The day I was glad when the sun setted
As I awaited the night to overshadow my guilt
Overshadow my shameful face
So I could shower my proudless tears
And grieve in peaceful solitude.

The only day i regretted the sunrise
Awaiting my terrible destiny
Facing the truth that would cause me so much pain
Fearing what would in the end free me.

All the horrid looks, the needle sharp words
The seemingly never-ending ignorance
Giving me the sense that I don't belong.
In the end it's the price that i pay
The road I must take
To find my way back
On the day that it all went wrong
And this time make it right.
