infallible

Maybe I was buried an age ago
In a landslide of styrofoam rubble;
Accumolation of unsubstantiated
Wistful ideals.
Maybe when the masks
Come off
Assisted breath
Robot helpers
Have retreated by remote control
I can turn this underworld
Into a cave
Childs play-area
Harmless toys to be
Chucked around
Amidst the giggles
That acknowledge no such
Distinctions.
Maybe, despair
Is Independence Day.
Fireworks exploding in a cheap parody
¡®Shock and awe!¡¯
daisy chains and ¡®daisy cutters¡¯
Foucault lied,
Regimes of Truth?
Regimes of Narrative
Regimes of agenda
Regimes of acceptance
Regressive.
In the conclave (prayer books and mp3¡¯s)
No smoke has yet emerged.
And Ratzinger sits, waiting;
God¡¯s Rottweiler
Perhaps
Soon,
Infallible.
