Landscape

A week ago I had slipped into a deep nap during the afternoon after
a busy
morning.
I had been so exhausted that even in my sleep I could feel how deeply
my body
had let go and sunk into my bed and cushions.
My sleep must have been very profound because I would embark on a long
dream
journey whom I woke up from hours later.
In one of them I saw a few familiar faces whom I was watching from
somewhere
else as they were not taking any notice of me.
Then I felt myself moving upwards and ended up standing in front of an
old
window which was divided in four partitions by wide framing.
As I looked outside I was stunned by the sudden emergence of a
fantasy
landscape which was so beautiful, it took my breath away.
I was staring at a landscape which incorporated all colours of the
rainbow.
Some of them were flickering under the sunlight and changing between
different
shades.
I was keen to take in every detail.
I first noticed the big puffy white clouds that seemed to flow
dynamically
across the clear-blue sky.
The bottom ground appeared to change with the sunlight reflecting on it
between
the shades of dark purple and a raspberry pink.
In the far West I could see a flat rock which in colour was similar
to
Australia's Ayers Rock, with its orange-golden sandy colours, and in
shape it
resembled a table mountain with a completely flat surface.
The sun was shining with such intensity that I had to keep blinking my
eyes. It
was almost impossible to look at the landscape for a long time.
Suddenly a space shuttle ignited in the left centre of the landscape,
getting
ready for a journey into space.
It rose with such elegance and power leaving discharging immense fired
energy.
For a moment only it moved horizontally across the sky, before speeding
up
within an instant and disappearing before my eyes.
It was such an overwhelming moment, that it was repeating itself in my
head
several times.
Instantaneously I woke up.
I was still exhausted somehow, but felt as though I had just been
touched by
something extremely beautiful that had re-awaken all my senses.
