It is a different kind of happiness,
Finding calm in the middle of a storm,
Finding joyful memories in the middle of grief,
Having tears in your eyes and a smile on your lips,
Hanging on with courage, while trembling with fear.

Its a happiness that is nurtured by faith,
Happiness which shows that strength and joy
Can come out of suffering, loss and pain.
Happiness when acceptance turns into peace,
And moments of doubt are replaced by hope.
