Destiny's Ocean

I was only four
When destiny knocked on my door,
It told me there's an ocean somewhere
An ocean? where?
Somewhere out there.

I found the ocean
It was beautiful beyond words,
There was a staircase leading towards the blue crystal sea
Each step I took was a new discovery.

I dived into the ocean
I swam and swam and swam
And somewhere in my mind I'm still swimming.

But where was Destiny?,
I wanted to thank Destiny for giving me my moment of peace,
That's when I realised I forgot to lock my door.

Then came the epiphany
It was all such a fake
I was tricked by Destiny
What I thought was an ocean was really just a lake.
