Dear...,
How I remember the first time we met
How we didn't say much
And when you had your back to me
You turned around gave me that smile
That everlasting smile.
How you would re-appear in my life
Upon some outside force
It was in these times
That I began to realize my fondness
For you.
Everytime you're near
I become a paradox”
One part of me filled
With complete dread,
For some part of me fears rejection.
Another my failure.
Another my love.
The other me is filled
With complete joy.
Of your presence
Which causes an instant smile
On my face.
It seems to
To fill my being
And shows all that is
Great about you.
So even though I might
Pretend to run away.
Don't be mistaken.
Since I would never
Betray my love.
