Have a Heart
All you gardeners, I do plead
Don't be cruel, to me a weed
I've a right to want to live
Some of us have a lot to give
All the flowers get loving care
Well I don't think that's really fair
I try to show, I can look pretty
But you despise me, such a pity
You go charging like a bull
It really hurts, when you pull
Yes I am strong , until you fill
That watering can, with that weed kill
And then next day, you have a peek
To see if I have gone all weak
While I am young, I can fight back
As long as I hide in some small crack
But I am fearful, when I start to grow
Next time you'll wrench me with that hoe
So please do try, and be a good sport
Like the flowers, give me some thought.
